AlphaCHIP Innovation Center was established in the early 90's to carry out research and development projects for the leading semiconductor companies.
In 1993rd, after successfully completed several pilot R&D projects for Semiconductor Products Sector of Motorola, Inc. (USA), a high-tech leader of that time, Motorola SPS and AlphaCHIP signed a long-term contract aimed to performing a wide range of researches in various fields of micro- and nanoelectronics. Under this agreement Motorola, Inc. was the exclusive customer of AlphaCHIP's R&D services and, until 2004th, the all engineering resources of AlphaCHIP were used for the performing projects initiated under the above mentioned agreement with the only exclusive customer. In 2004th, when Motorola, Inc. was split into several separate legal entities, Freescale Semiconductor, Inc. became the assignee of the contract with AlphaCHIP. This R&D contract expired in 2008th. Then AlphaCHIP signed R&D contract with AMI Semiconductor (USA), and later with ON Semiconductor (USA).
In recent years, the list of AlphaCHIP customers has expanded significantly. It includes many leading Russian IT companies, developers and manufacturers of integrated circuits.
Over the past almost 30 years, AlphaCHIP has gained extensive experience in performing comprehensive research in the field of IT solutions related to the development of software products for the design of integrated circuits: memory circuit compilers, synthesis, modeling, verification, characterization and testing of integrated circuits, as well as the development of their components: standard cell libraries, memory circuits, test microchips, complex functional blocks (IP blocks) and custom chips.
The company carries outs active researches and IT developments in the field of neural networks and artificial intelligence. It is also planned to enter the world and domestic software markets with tools developed for automation of integrated circuit design.
AlphaCHIP LLC is included in the register of IT companies of the Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation.
